It finally happened. I had to reload Odin Magnus's game. ;) Thrice I had to reload before I finally got the beginning of the fight to start properly. Once I got my ideal start, the rest was elementary.

The most difficult thing about this fight was the fact that Balthazar had incredible damage resistances whenever he is under the influence of his version of Chant. Damage dealt by summons and spells were single digit, and add in the fact that he has multiple castings of Lay on Hands and we have a boss who keeps refusing to stay damaged. This was a battle of stamina and brutality. I had to deal as much damage as possible while trying to last as long as possible as well.

Even more frustating is his Second Wind spell, which restores him back to full health. Especially when he does it while he is Nearly Dead... ... http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/soupson.gif

I even had to retreat once to go back to my Planar Stronghold so that I could recharge my spells with the Wish spell. Hmmmm... but he fell in the end, and so far, it has been two weeks gametime since he started ToB. Got to love having the ability not to need sleep.

how is it that you can summon MORE than one planetar at a time? i can only get one, then get a message, "you can only have one of this creature at a time", or somesuch crap.
