I have tryed allmost everything, without any luck! I have cast protection form acit- magic resistance- protection from fear- haste and true seeing on my charters. Then i cast time stop- pirce magic- lower resistance- finger of death and death clouds on the dragon... But my crew dont last for very long. Can anyone help me? or should i just wait and come back to the dragon when i have got more experience...? here is my crew: Main chr. Paladin lev. 20 Saravoc lev. 21 Minsc lev. 20 Jaheira lev. 15 Imoen lev. 19 Aerie lev. 15 |
I did it with a solo mage. You might not be high enough but if you got chain contingency it could...
Cast spell trigger, insert 3 lower resistances, hit the dragon with it. Then cast chain contingency, insert 3 abi dalzims, make the dalzims hit the dragon and poof, hes dead. Kinda cheap though. A question, how did you cast time stop? Aerie aint high enough, and Imoen doesnt have enough int to cast time stop. And if you dualed sarevok to a mage, he doesnt have enought int either. |
NPCs do not have the INT spell restriction. Imoen, Nalia and any NPC Mage for that matter, can cast any spell, anywhere, so long as their character level is high enough.

First I summoned A LOAD of shit with a wizards eye (Possible the best spell ever) you send in your group with the wizards eye they will drop his human guise. The second he turns dragon he will cast his own spell called death field deystroying all summoned creatures anywhere near him ... now if your party is far back enough the dragon won't come after you but he probably will and it will take a long time so leave the zone go somewhere and take off your summoning spells. Give aerie the chain contingencie with magic missle and with all your other mages except give one lower resistence cast invis on that one and zap him with it. Also give your guys spell triggers/sequencers what ever they are. once you have them all in rememorize some new things in those slots when you met the shithead and and your lower resist contingencie goes run like hell when he hits your other mages ... wait one of them should have dispell because he uses lots of spells and he casts heal on him self too..... He is too tough go to Watchers Keep and play through that. |

Heck, yeah, he can. I've got Nalia doing that all the time. And, worm, please watch your language. We have some children on these boards.
