I'm soloing a cavalier, and have finally reached the cromatic demon in watcher's keep..
But I can't kill him!
I know about the weaknesses, it's just that I don't have any fire, lightning, or poison spells..
What items can I use that will help kill this demon??

Summon a Deva before you release the Chromatic Demon, then the moment it appears, start whacking it with Crom Faeyr if you have it, remember to keep Whirlwinding him.

If you have the Silver Sword, you can use that too.

Oh, and cast the following spells before you engage it. Armour of Faith, Draw Upon Holy Might and Hardiness.

But when I hit it with normal weapons, it seemed to stay at barely injured..
That's why I was confused..

That be because it has very high damage resistance. You need to really hit it a lot of times in order to kill it. Oh, get your Deva to cast Globe of Blades, you may never know when the Demon fails its' saving throw. ;)

If things go badly, then start using Hit-and-run tactics, running in circles, while hurling Aduzedge at the Chromatic Demon.

No problem, the Chromatic Demon is going to be the least of your problems. ;) Have fun! :D

I killed it with a lot of Elementals and Skeleton Warriors, agree with the Whirlwinds. Agree least of problems. Hate those roomfuls of demons. Had to cheese them. Do you have to be Evil to made a deal with them?

Oh, don't think I don't know of what to come..
I played through ToB so many times, I can't count them..
I still have nightmares [img]smile.gif[/img]
I just haven't gone through with a solo cavalier before..
Though I must admit, it is VERY fun to solo :D

Actually, thanks for reminding me, because I want to find out the answer for this as well. What are the exact alignments that will allow you to work for them?
