Just a question to anyone who may know. Are the final endings after the battle with mellisan for the npcs always the same?
After all the trouble of changing viconias alignment the poor elf doesnt live to see the child as she is poisoned by a servant of lolth.
Also i am still having trouble changing sarevoks align....if it is changed does this alter his rather sad ending?
Help always apprciated.
Ns.

You can read all the possible ending(s) for the NPCs at GameBanshee. Only NPCs with romances can have different endings, depending on whether you chose Godhood or mortality.

Nightshift, I hear that new epilogs are available on the new mod "Ascension" see in the BGII forum. I certainly agree that, compared to the epilogs for the other romances, the one for Viconia is heartbreaking. My husband finished TOB in Oct., was so mad that he couldn't speak of it for days. He actually composed a joint epilog for his entire group, and it starts out: "Attalus and Viconia lived many happy days together, though she had to survive an attempted poisoning by a creature of Lolith's. They had two children, a boy and a girl, who, fortunately only resembled Drow in their rather olive complexions and very blonde, but not white, hair. Luckily, they both inherited more of their mother's beauty than their father's rather average looks. TThe couple bought a huge house in Baldur's Gate with the booty from their adventures where their friends and allies frequently visited..." he goes on to talk of the rest of his group. I hope that makes you feel better, it certainly did him.
