I am noe in TOB having finished SoA with Viconia romannce. SPOILER
= = = = = = = = = = = When I was just about through, her screen pops up and says she wants to leave the group. I tried to get her to stay by proclaiming my love, etc., but the only basis on which she would consent to stay was business only, no monkey business. When we got to the part where I ask my NPCs if they want to fight Irenicus, the game describes Viconia as my "former love," and she says she's coming because I'm the only one who's ever treated her nice. We go through the final battle in Hell, no sweat. Then TOB starts off, and still nothing out of her. After a while, I got tired of this, and re-started TOB with a saved-game from before she shut the romance down, and sure enough she starts off with something about how she had turned the heat off but agreed to stay with the group, but has reconsidered, and wants to leave again. This time, I talk her out of it, and we're on again. So, can somebody tell me, did I do right? Would this have happened if I had just gone into TOB with her turned off? Anyone? |
I recall that whenever it seemed appropriate, I made my character avoid having sex with Viconia and started to teach her that love was more than just sex. She tried to leave the group 2 times but I always managed to convince her to stay. Oh, and my character acted shy with her.
Essentially, my character showed her compassion, empathy, love and sympathy. My character however, shared her love for power, but not to the extent of cruelty. You know what is funny? This was when I was having an Evil Party, I kill gnomes on one hand, and act as a softie on the other. |
Thanks, Dundee. I guess I'll just leave it like it is.

Did you start with Viconia as soon as you could?

Wow, this is good stuff. Thanks, Dundee. One time, she asked if we could carve out a kingdom somewhere, and I said,"that wouldn't be bad" or some such, and she replied," at least you have some ambition."

No problem.
