This was the most fun game I have ever played, I decided to play a solo mage, with NO allies att all. It is suprisingly easy. After you reach lvl 15 you can summon skeletal warriors and rest of the game is not a challenge anymore. Annoying thing is if you are dire chrmed, or just "standard" mazed, the game ends. And everyone adresses you as "your party",ah well.....

Friends?! Dont need no stinking friends! Err...maybe a planetar or two...


Against Mellissan you have to be VERY sparing of your spells!! Although that wish spell granted me a nights sleep.

I really recommend playing like this.

Do you play as a pure mage or multiclassed?
I would have thought that a normal mage would get slaughtered, unless they were fighter/mage.....
So is it actually easy? I also thought it would be very hard :D

Pure Mage lvl 31 (heheh)-he's not even specialised

Like I said, its pretty hard before you reach lvl 15 becuase there arnt any decent allies you can summon, but after that, 4 skeletal warriors make short work of most foes
