I've heard tahet there is a great axe +6 in ToB. Is that correct?

If yes is it then 1 handed or 2 handed?

Dundee Slaytern 11-01-2001 02:55 PM

The best enchanted Axe in ToB is a +5 Axe.

The only +6 weapons in ToB are a Two-Handed Sword, a Halberd and a Quarterstaff, all Two-Handed weapons if you notice. There is no +6 enchanted One-Handed weapon.

All Axes in the game are One-Handed by the way.

Yes, one. If I recall correctly, the only weapon that has no +5 enchantment or better, is the Katana.

both the +5 axe (Axe of the Unyealding) and the +6 halberd (The Ravager) are also vorpal weapons with a 10% chance to instanly kill the enemy. the axe does allow a save vs. death though, but the halberd doesn't!
avoid having the person wielding the Ravager being charmed, confused or dominated!!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I learnt that the hard way...

I had Sarevok equipped with the Silver Sword before... then we went to Watcher's Keep and I was wandering around the Maze when we encountered Sirens... Sarevok got charmed and by extreme bad luck, inflicted Deathbringer Assault on both my Swashbuckler and Korgan... so they both got gibbed, and to make things worse, he vorpal hit my Necromancer... forcing me to reload the game... ...
