well i've heard everything from spell triggers, to dispel magic to beat abagizel... and i've tried all these.. but they didn't seem to work. the easiest way to do i found, with only casting one spell, and you only need one character to do it... is by using time stop with a greater whirlwind attack. if you have a high level fighter/mage, or a time stop scroll you can equip your fighter with, simply use it and walk over to him and kick his darn tootin' arse. i did this a few times to make sure i wasn't lucky or anything and sure enough i'd win without someone even getting any damage from him. this is the perfect solo way to do it... and it only takes a minute or so to beat him... this is all after he changes into a dragon of course. it's crazy that nobody has come up with this idear' here at the forum....

That sounds pretty devastating. I bet it would work on any of the bosses. You mentioned just equiping a fighter with a scroll of timestop; I thought you had to be a magic user to use those scrolls. Now, a thief/fighter or bard using the use any item skill might be able to use a time stop scroll.
