I am thinking about buying ToB, but I am not sure. So now I wonder:
1. How long time did it take for you to finish it?
2. Is there any good weapons/spells?
3. Is it relativitly a good add-on to SoA?

What we do in life, echoes in eternity

1. Depends how much you play it. I did it in 3 evenings, playing for about 5hrs per night. Bioware reckon theres 40 hrs of play including watchers keep.
2. There are some truly awesome spells and even greater weapons and armour. Theres at least one very powerful weapon for each weapon type.
3. It can only be described as the perfect expansion.

I'm not finished it, but so far it is the best rpg expansion I've played. Much better than HoW for Icewind Dale. A good value.

ToB is absolute a good investment. It is a really good story, good items and it is fun to be able to use so many high level spells. I think that ToB is a very good ending to the hole BG adventure.

No downloadable demos that i know of. It's really worth it. It advances the story line to a whole new level. There are great weapons and new special abilities for all characters. Not to mention some great fights. and i'm only about 1/2 the way though i think.
