I finally reached the city itself but I´m having troubles deciding in which order to go through it. Are there any recommended tactics on that? I have cleared the entrance screen, and the screens southwest and west to it. Generally, which direction is better, north or west?

Because of my english skills and short temper I´m quite unaware what to do at Iron Throne HG, or is it the last place I should visit? Then, where is this friendly Duke what´s-his-name everyone´s talking about?

Is there any opponency in this city (a fireball or two seems to wipe every opponent out)? Guess I have ruined the fun by having a too strong party by completing all the subquests and visiting each screen before BG.

Thadanks beforehand.

It doesn't really matter, which direction you take while exploring the city. The only thing is, when you come across those guys again, which are threatening you north of the entrance IIRC, take that, what happens then, serious. They are not joking.

The guy on the bridge should have told you to meet is the commander of the flaming fist. Just go to the Flaming Fist HQ and there you will also meet the duke Eltan. You will get several quests there and they will tell you where to go to complete the game.

And don't worry, there are enough challenging encounters in the city.
