I went on my way to the Oasis, unprepared
for what I would find. I got slaughtered!!!! I reloaded, and this time I redid all my spells, and oh look I can memorize a ninth level spell now. So I tried chain contingency. I loaded Imoen and Nalia up with Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting, Prismatic Spray and chain lightning (I think) and set the contingency to go off when an enemy is sighted and the closest enemy and BAM!!! I killed the initial on rush of pikemen, battle mages, archers and the like. Meanwhile my druid was busy (as always) summoning Elemental princes and Anomen was summoning a Deva my fighters were going after those remarkably accurate archers. Hee Hee, I think I'll be using chain contingency a lot from now on. |

My style, http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...s/coollook.gif
The moment I step foot into the area, I use my super-mage, you know... the one with the *wink* *wink* robe, and immediately cast a Planetar next to the enemy. Since the Planetar is immuned to +2 and lower weaponary, she can last long. So as everybody swarm around her, I use the same mage, and walk right smack into the middle of the swarm, and nobody can see him because of the Staff of Magi. Invisible, I make him cast Chain Contingency and fill it up with 3 ADHWs, set to trigger when enemy is sighted and to cast at nearest enemy, then I wait. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif It is a very good feeling as everybody drops dead from the spell onslaught. |
