I've read through a bunch of information about BG2 and I'm concerned about the npc's that I have to choose from.Is it true that there aren't enough npc's to have a full party made up of single classed characters? If so,I have to admit that I'm reticent about making those decisions because hit points and experience alone make me leary of multi-classed npc's(well, that and I'm lazy so I prefer single classed characters because there's less to keep track of).http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/hihi.gif Also, if there are enough single classed people to fill out my party will they make a balanced group? Are their alignments going to be a problem or are there alignment changing items that will help me drag them kicking and screaming from the dark side?I know there is a tiefling npc and due to my love for the Planescape campaign setting I will HAVE to have him in my group, I really hope he's usefull.Sorry about all the inane questions and thanks in advance for any help or suggestions...

Well... let's see here are your pure-class men and women (kits included)

Haer'Dalis- your tiefling, he is a good SUPPORTING cast, Blade (bard)
Imoen- Thief dual to Mage
Nalia- same, but with yuck thieving skills
Korgan- Beserker (fighter), will have conflicts with Aerie, Chaotic Evil, but will always have a large reverence for what the character will have to say.
Viconia- Cleric. Neutral Evil... quite a nice lass if you like her.. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
Edwin- Conjurer (mage), the biggest bad ass mage in the game, a must have, Lawful Evil
Keldorn- Inquisitor (paladin)
Anomen- Cleric dualled to Fighter
Minsc- Ranger

You can have a party with all pure classed men and women if you don't consider dualling as a form of multi-classing, but then the best at what they do are thee evil ones sad to say... so don't worry about it! Experiment, have fun! See what the have to offer, the key thing in BG2 http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

There are 16 ready made NPC's that can join your group not including
yourself of all Types don't worry 10 of these are single class and all are
different classes the other 6 are Multi-class and I've beat this game more than
30 times with duel class and multi-class and single class.
Just play the game and don't sweat the small stuff.
