I have just encountered the hardest fight I have ever come across in any of the baldurs gate or icewind dale games.
It is in the last level of watchers keep, when you put the last key in the center of the room. Six very powerful creatures appear. I would have trouble with any one of them, but 6 is too hard. Any tips on how to take on these guys would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Sean |

Ok, here's a couple of suggestions. Before you put the key in, take your thief if you have one and lay traps all around the area they will appear. Back all of your characters off, especially spellcasters so they'll be out of harms way. If you have the skulltrap spell memorize several copies of it and cast a bunch of them right there where the baddies will appear. If you don't have it there may be something else that will work (delayed blast fireball maybe?) anyways, if you had enough traps to set and/or 2-4 skull traps it will seriously weaken them and you should be able to win. BETTER WAY take your team and hide as far back as you can and do what prime2u
suggested using your Thief---then cast farsight on the Position the bad guys appear at-----then start casting Incendiary Clouds, Death Fog, Fire Storm,and Cloud Kill from off-screen---then just sit back and watch them all die!!
