If you have a multi-classed thief in your party and if you level up him before 1.500.000 xp he wont gain any special abilities. You have to wait to hit 3.000.000 xp for your every character. And Level 22 for Cleric. My Aerie is level 14/14 Cleric/Mage and she gained special abilities for her xp (1.500.000/1.500.000) but Jan didnt. (1.400.000/1.400.000) Then I wait for him to achieve 1.550.000 xp to advance him 2 levels. He gained 2 special abilities. So dont miss/lose them they're nice

Appreciate the help, happened to me once already. Fortunately,
or not, I had to re-install my entire hard drive yesterday.
So I'm starting a brand new game, I'll have to keep that in
mind...

actually, its a total of 3million xp. since Jan's equaled only 2.8 million and Aerie's equaled 3million, she got the abilities and he didnt. trust me, i know. my fighter/mage was the same way w/ aerie.
