I really wonder about your ideas about special abilities. For Mage, Dragons Breath and Improved Alacrity soudns great. I cant really decide for Cleric's. For fighters, hardness and whirlwind is great. Magic res, death blow sucks, what's your favourite and advices??

*and I cant decide for both nalia and jan to go on with which proficiency? (they're both prof with short sword, dagger, short bow, crossbow, staff. I'm thinking about to go on with longsword or katana?)

Zoltan--
i agree that whirlwind and hardiness are excellent warrior attacks. but power attack, critical strike, and smite are excellent as well. they can decimate an opponent in a few blows! couple one of those w/ a whirlwind, and the intensely painful smashing ensues.

the resist magic ability is ok for a secondary warrior NPC or something like that, one that won't be getting to use the crucial items that give mad magic resistance. don't discount deathblow too much, it's actually a great ability on the odd occasion that you're faced with a creature that can be destroyed by it...and for the mightier foes, you have, well, whirlwind and those crazy striking abilities.

as far as cleric's quest spells go, i think aura of flaming death is extremely badass, as is globe of blades, and especially with an NPC like anomen with his limited warrior ability. whatever he doesn't manage to smash (which is not much), his globe of blades and flaming death will do their fair share of annihilation.

i think storm of vengeance is a cleric spell? Anyway, that seems to kick quite a bit of ass. Comet is nice for a mage spell, if the monsters miss their save (greater malison, first) they get stunned and are basically finished and half-dead. I haven't had much luck with dragons breath, as too many powerful enemies are resistant to fire.

I agree, hardiness and whirlwind are definately the first abilities to choose. I personally think deathblow is useless; if enemies are weak enough to get killed by it, chances are your fighters could waste them easily enough without deathblow. AND Sarevok has a deathblow-ish power built right in...

Even if you save vs dragon's breath you take half damage and 10d10 is also very much as area effect
