I haven't been able to cheat in TOB. All I want is the items that i left behind in SoA. The debug mode is appearently not working but what could be wrong?

Maybe installing tob overwrites the baldur.ini file you could try looking to see if the cheat mode thing is still there.

what did you do, exactly? i installed TOB over SoA, and i could create items right away! BTW, the ToB install didn't overwrite my baldur.ini file.

Kwan is right. baldur.ini only changes when you reinstall SOA. Check the file and see if you still have the line.
