Which should I up on their dexterity??? Imoen as my thief already has 18, Korgan my tank has 15. Is it better to up Imoen to 19 or korgan to 16??

Upping Imoen's dex from 18 to 19 will have no real tangible effect, as her defensive adjustment to her armor class will remain 4.

Korgan going from 15 to 16 I'm not sure about though. I think it may improve his def. adj. but I'd have to check my player's handbook and I can't seem to find it right now.

Improving Korgans dexterity from 15 to 16 will give him +1 to his AC. Raising Imoen's from 18 to 19 will slightly improve her thieving scores and give her +1 to her THAC0 with missile weapons.


I'd recomend neither though and concentrate ALL stat upgrades from BG tomes, the deck of many things and the machine of lum the mad on your main character. That means that you will have a superior character to import into NWN.

the bonuses work as follows:

13 - 15 -1 AC
16 - 17 -2 AC
18 - -3 AC

19 will give you an additional +1 to hit with missiles I believe, however

15: -1AC
16: -2AC
17: -3AC
18: -4AC

Base AC is 10. My main char has an 18 dex, and a 'natural' ac of 6.

What really annoyed me is when I used the Lum machine on my characters it didn't workhttp://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif

dex 19 also gives 5% bonus to all thieving abilities over dex 18. it also gives additional +1 missile damage.
going from 15 to 16 gives +1 AC and +1 missile damage (but Korgan isn't going to be using missiles http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif)
