Whats the best bastard sword in the game and where can I get it?

Foebane +5, it's forged for you by Cespenar from Foebane +3 (first floor of Watcher's Keep) and Fflar's Scabbard (found in Saradush prison).

Purifier +5 ..... think holy avenger for any lawful good, not just paladins.

Foebane is actually not that good I don't think...

Where exactly on Watcher's Keep level 1 do you find Foebane?
I completed Watcher's Keep and found the Purifier, Usuno's Blade, Spectral Brand, Ixil's Nail (and Spike), Axe of the Unyielding, Hindo's Doom, Taralash, Erinne Sling, Club of Detonation and Angurdaval - enough magical goodies to equip an entire party, but no Foebane at all. Are there any others I missed?

I think Foebane is held by one of the animated statues.

Tancred is right, Foebane is indeed on level 1 of WK. On one of the statues.
