well, im curious. whats yer most frustrating thing to happen to you during the course of ToB.

for me, it was when i was fighting someone (probably Sendai, i spent lots of time on her, had to go to bed to work off the stress, but thats a diff story), and my Planetar casts Firestorm. okay, no big deal. just keep my chars outta the area effect and ill be fine. the Planetar runs through it, goes hostile because of its OWN spell, and kills someone. okay, no big deal, reload. so i have her down to her final form, and one of the Drow mages that come in at your back have dominated Edwin. by now im all outta remove magic and dispel magic spells, so i just let the duration run out. the Planetar doesnt ignore him however, and his Stoneskins are down. the Planetar, no matter how many times i tell it to attack Sendai, goes ahead and kills Edwin, chunking him around the room. reload again, and she was at Injured too...

For me it was battle with those final guardians (the 5th level of the Watcher's Keep). I was so curious about ToB that went to Watcher's Keep too early, completely unprepared and was low-leveled for such an adventure (actually it was SoA yet). Imagine, I couldn't summon single Planetar, I could do nothing special. It was a disaster! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/crying.gif What a torment!
And then, of course, the Final Battle of the ToB. It was a miracle that I have this game finished, real miracle...

I had the upgrade patch for Balthazar and the most frustrating thing was when I'd be going well and then he'd run and quivering palm my protagonist. Reload time again. Notice I said HAD the patch.
