I found out that the ToB book is wrong. Everyone gets spec abilities when they reach 3000000 exp. Is that right?

I think that it's tied to XPs rather than levels. Originally, I thought that you got special abilities at 20th level, but Aerie isn't 20th level and she is receiveing special abilities. So...I'd say that you're probably right. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

That's just what I meant. The ToB rulebook is wrong! My mage gained a special ability at level 18 and my cleric is level 21 and still no abilities. If you have a multiclass character if the exp add up to 3000000 they get the ability in the class they level up in.

I want to coorect my reply. If your character levels up and is above or equal 3000000 exp then they get an ability.

Monks get their abilities at level 20, at 2,700,000. Multi-class characters have a big advantage in ToB, as they can choose from both ability tables everytime they level up, in either class.

Why are monks so special?
