Please no spoilers of any kind with this, please.
To mu question now, how long is ToB anyway. Is it short, so you can finish it, in 3-4 days, like the BG expansion, or is it longer? I heard 50 hours, but then again I heard 100 hours for BG1 when it took me about a month. So what do you guys who've played it think. And another think is it possible to hit the exp ca 8000000 or is it actually too high? |

Oh, and I find that ToB also requires a bit more strategy. I'm often one to go in with guns blazing, but in ToB that doesn't always work. You have to strike a strategic balance between melee and magic. |
I believe the game was designed for 40 hours of gameplay. With all the reloads that I have done, I think I can extend this into about 80 hours http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
And I think I will hit the XP cap pretty easily. It seems about every 3-4 battles I am going up a level! ------------------ http://www.bestanimations.com/fantas.../dragon-04.gif Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig |
The original Baldur's Gate took about a month for me.
Shadows on Amn took just over a month, but playing it was an obsession so many many hours per day was spent on it. Throne of Bhaal took 4 days of obsession to complete. |
Yeah, as much as I'll be sad to see it finally over, it'll be really nice to get my life back.

4 days? 40 hours? I think I'm going to start crying. They should have done a BG III. I want MORE. I want another month of playing. Not 4 days.
Oh well. I heard there's a new unoficial expansion. Got to keep my eyes on that one. And then there's NWN. That'll be cool. I'm gonna recreate my BG2 party and all the characters in the game. And then the adventures will never end. |
