I am having problems beating Melissan in the ending. She summons too many shadow slayers and balors. Any tips you guys/gals have?
I have beaten her the other day and during that time she didn't even summon anything apart from a few shadow slayers.

Also if my earlier post let in too much for those who haven't finish the game... A big sorry!

Dont use spells on Her Final Fight.
Use Simulcrum, all of the sequenced spells, and have good +4 or better weapons.

The Elemental Princes are weaklings, but the Fallen Solar might prove a challenge due to the mariliths. Watch out for that SPEAR!

To beat her, basically focus your entire attack on her, you get bloodied, but she gets broken... Dragon's Breath also works well.

My mages packed up on Lower Magic Resistance, Breach, Pierce Magic and Summon Creature spells. The critters kept her henchmen busy while I beat on her as much as I could. Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting was great for helping to clear away critters and for damaging Mellisan, after her magic resistance had been lowered.

What level are you guys doing this at? My level 27 Cavalier is having a hell of a time.
