The permanent stat increases you are supposed to get from the machine of lum the mad are not working for me for example I used the recipe to get +1 to strength and it displays the message to say I got it but when I go to my profile page the stat hasnt changed and neither has the melee damage or thaco bonus. It opened the portal to the next level and gave me the storm star mace just fine but it wont do the other stuff.

I hear this usually has happened to people who have 3rd party downloads. Keeps stats from raising and such with TOB.

Crap demogorgon wont appear either even when he says hes gonna fight me.

On the stat thing...do you have something like Crom Fayer or one of the Girdles of Strength on? Because if you do, then the increase won't help. Your base strength might be increased from say, 18 to 19, but if Crom Fayer is on it won't go from 25 to 26. Give it to someone who isn't wearing strength enhancing equipment (ditto with the other stuff...ie, don't give the dex. point to someone wearing guantlets of dexterity, don't give the charisma to someone wearing ring of human influence, etc).

Strange. Mine worked fine.

BTW, if you are using Crom Faeyr or any other item that artifically increases your ability scores, your base ability score will still increase if you use the machine, you just won't see it on your ability score screen (unless you de-equip whatever is giving you the temporary increase).
