i'm replaying the BG/ToSC/BG2/ToB series (baldurdashed with official patches) from start to finish and having a blast doing it. the group runs from Level 9 to Level 12. i'm in bg2 and just took out a certain dragon in a certain shady forest with 2 chars left standing... nalia & jaheira! while my main was passed out under this dragon-who-shall-remain-nameless' foot, nalia (severely level-drained) delivered the final blows/spells that did this creature in as a ... get this... level 1 mage/level 2 thief. :D

she's NEVER gonna let any of us forget this. never! :D

In a very scary mansion called *oink! Bonk!*, my sorceres Sylvara (Extra character. Friend of ____)was fighting a crazy, crazy pwer-hungry mage by the name of *Crack! Boom!*

He was casting spells like crazy, and had everyone, and I mean everyone, stunned (literally) in the room sans Sylvara.

Her only hope was one spell left... Chromatic Orb.


She casts, and... Wild surge! No save! *Binka Binka! Boink!* was turned to stone!

Looks like wild mages have their uses after all ;)
