Just got the BG2 collection w/ToB. Does this come with the latest patch or not? (I ask because when I got the BG1 collection, I was explicitly instructed NOT to patch it or run the risk of corrupting the game. Given what I've heard about BG2 and bugs, choosing wrong could mean exceptional difficulties.)

It has all "official" patches. But it's not perfect. There is a ToB fixpak that repairs some more bugs/inaccuracies. Go here...

Actually there is a new beta fixpack just released that includes all the baldurdash fixes and tons of new ones. Check this thread http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...c;f=2;t=025608

As for official patches I think you can check for the version of the game by going to 'Options' from main menu (or was it in the main menu itself?)
