After you've already beat this game, what keeps you coming back and replaying it?
Some try soloing, but find it boring. Some try different NPCs, or a different protagonist to spice things up. Some try some mods to make the game harder, or to add new fun quests. What do you do to make the game more interesting? |
Mods. Mods mods mods.
Everything old is new again :D |
Which mods? I'm in a BG2 dry spell here...
|
Well, I just discovered the beauty of Unfinished Business.
Npc mods add quests, or you can expand on Bioware NPCs' quests using a mod. |
First it was mods now it's multiplayer.
|
there are so many mods out there to play. Check out forgottenrealms.net for basically every mod created for BG2. I didn't play BG2 for nearly a year I think, and I recently started playing again with different party formations...I still haven't experienced every aspect of UB, and I'm looking forward to testing out some new mods this summer.

I don't know. Honestly. I like learning new stuff about the game, even at this point, and experimenting with mods. I also don't go fully at BG2 100% at a time, I'll switch between it and another game, for instance.

i recently got Planescape torment, but found it lacking in comparison to bg 2. so here is my advice. buy a game similar, and you'll be in disgust at how it doesn't comepare to bg, so you will play it again! I have a sudden urge to start an 3 character party, a fighter thief, a ranger cleric and a sorceror.
