I used some mods, but failed to find it in the documentation. In Trademeet I found this halfling character that provided me with an -quite evil- alternative to solving the Druid problem. Is this part of UnfinishedBusiness or Virtue? Or was it part of the original game and did I miss it?

It's in the unmodded game.

Is it? I never noticed this option before.

I think you have to be really evil to get that quest.

The halfing only appears if the player character is evil. It's a fun option for evil parties. I like Lord Logans reaction when you talk to him after doing the quest the evil way

The only thing is if your using Jaheria (which is possible for evil parties) she leaves your party in disgust at your actions.

Also if you take this option you will not be able to do the feud quest later.

btw, I think it is reputation dependent rather than alignement dependent.

Cam_H 01-05-2006 10:28 AM

ZFR,

Why do you think that it is reputation dependent rather than alignment dependent?

ZFR 01-05-2006 10:30 AM

Simply because most quests in the game are reputation dependent rather than alignement (not all, just most). I'm not sure about this one. Maybe someone can verify.

EDIT: I really haven't done any research into this. Just my observations from playing the game. I think many things depend on a combination of alignement-reputation-charisma

I believe the only time I took that path was in my Naughty Boy game with Fenris Melkior, and I seem to recall that our Reputation was pretty high throughout the majority of the game....I could be wrong, though. Still, I think it's based on alignment rather than Rep--only Evil PCs get the chance to take the Evil path in the Druid Grove.

Well, guess what new stuff you find at every try. :D

One flaw I found was that somehow Logan knows that Faldorn is the culprit when you return, when he didn't even know why the druids were attacking in the first place.
