I have killed his two human forms, and was almost killing the third dragon form, when he shouted "i will not be defeated that easily", and teleported away.

He "stole" some important loot from me (i plan to play a fallen cleric ranger, so his flail is a must), apart from the satisfaction of having his tail kicked.

When and how will i fight him again?

I'm facing the same problem. Think I read somewhere that it is a bug.

He's supposed to ambush you leaving his dungeon, but doesn't show up due to lack of space in the narrow entrance. IIRC someone suggested to gate him in via CLUA Console, but I'd like to know how that is to be done exactly? Anyone?

Can you please remove the name of your opponent from the topic title. The fact that he is an enemy might be a spoiler to some. Just call him Red Dragon, and everyone'll know.

The dragon reappears when you leave his dungeon and you go near the point where you fighted the ogres-knights when you first arrived at Windspear Hills.
And prepare for a really hard battle ...
