I've got BG2:SoS and BG2:ToB and want to start a new game.

There's a load of mods I'd like to install to make the game a bit more interesting but I'm not sure what order to install them in, or if all the mods will be compatible.

The last thing I want is to play through two thirds of the game only to have it crash or corrupt on me.
The following is what I'm interested in:

1) A clean install of Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhall.

2) Install the offical Bioware patches from each, ToB: http://www.bioware.com/games/throne_...pport/patches/ for example.

4) Weidu mods from here: http://weidu.org/main.html including the Ascension mod, ease of use mod, Solaufein mod, and some of the minor Weidu mods

5) Some smaller not-so-popular mods from this page: http://dragonshoard.blackwyrmlair.net/download.php some of these look pretty interesting.

6) I also plan to have a trawl through this page: http://www.pocketplane.net/modlist/ as there seems to be a lot of content there.


So basically I want the most interesting and fun BG2 experience after having played through the game a couple of times. Various Mods seem to be the way to go but knowing which ones to install and in what order to install them seems to be a bit tricky!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you do a search for this?

Probably up there with how do you kill Firkragg/Kangaxx as one of the most common questions about the game.

Also you missed one of the most important ones, Baldurdash. Considered by most to be absolutely essential.
