For some reason, everyone always appears to be busy!
Not too sure why, and it has been patched up to the ToB, but just in the very first part in the promenade it always says everyone is busy, including the Inn Keepers & some of the shops staff. Everytime I try and talk to them, it just says that they are busy. The odd occasion I can talk to an Innkeeper, and he lets me rest. Then I try and talk to them again, and it says busy. Any ideas? |
Common problem with Baldur's Gate 2 installed on a Windows XP computer. Make sure you download both the proper patch (i.e. Throne of Bhaal one, if you've got that one installed) and the Baldurdash fixpack.
You can find both in the FAQ thread at the top of this forum. |
Thanx Link.
Baldurdash was my next stop!!! So I just install the ToB fix pack, and it will be included in there? [ 06-15-2005, 04:59 PM: Message edited by: Lavindathar ] |
The official patch is the one with this particular bugfix in it. The ToB fixpack fixes a ton of others though, so install both

Ta guys. |
keep in mind that it is normal for some people to appear busy after they talked to you and are moving away.
I'm just saying this because some poeple thought patch wasnt working. |
I always found atht, if you can't install and downloads (like me!), then save and reload, and most people will talk to you again.

It's sorted now.
ZFR, there is a difference between the odd person being busy, and every shop/innkeeper/commoner being busy. Just reinstalled the patch. |
