This is odd. Is the timing on this quest different if you're romancing her? I usually have a messenger come up to her and take her away right after being duped by the whole "Monteron is a bird" thing. In my current game, there hasn't been a messenger, and I finished that quest about 5 or 6 game-days ago.

Is the a bug? Is it normal?

Yeah, it takes longer for her to be summoned by the messenger if you're in a romance with her. It's normal.

Also, you might want to rest in the wilderness one time. I believe the held-hostage miniquest has to be solved before anyone gets summoned anywhere...

JrKASperov is correct, you must be ambushed in the wilderness before anyone is summoned. Good luck playing one of the most bugged romances in the game
