A) Is it possible to do the planar sphere while soloing without killing Valygar? Since you either have to kill him or have him with you I dont see any other possibility.

B) Is it possible to get the fighter stronghold without having Nalia in your party? AFAIR it's her who gives you the stronghold...

you can have him in your party, thenas soon as he opens the door for you, boot him, but otherwise, you'll be killing him. I tihnk you may be able to pick pocket his body... somehow...

And yes you can get the stronghold without the whiny little... i mean Nalia... in your party. Just do the Keep quest as normal, telling her to wait in the pallisade outside, then go talk to her afterwards.

I have never done it, but since he "drops" his body when he dies, he is probably carrying it as a item so unless this has been fixed in a patch.baldurdash you may be able to pick pocket him...if you weren't a fighter, which going by the second question, you are.

Being a fighter, there is only one way i can think of that you could pick-pocket him. Depends on one condition though... you must be Lawful Neutral. Summon the ferret familiar using the potion swap trick, then pick-pocket his body from him with the ferret. (anyone else think this is just wierd?)

Other than either that, or taking him with you and dumping him, you dont have alot of options.

EDIT] spelling

When he joins your party, he doesn't have his body in his inventory. I think it only appears when you kill him.

WHy not just cheat it in, why go to such elaborate lengths if you want to break the rules? I was taking it that he wanted to do it within the rules of the game, otherwise his question is redundant.

I'll just kill him then. Not a very big deal since am soloing. thanks all

I always pickpocket tolgerias, drop the ring off somewhere, pick up valygar in the hills, open the sphere, collect my ring from tolgerias yet again, then kill tolgerias for the ring.

edit: had teos in place of tolgerias
