Well they change the game in a positive or negative way. :D
They can add quests, NPC's, weapons etc.

The most important thing is to install any Mods in the CORRECT order. The above sites have tutorials on how to do this, but basically it's...
1. Patches and fixpacs first
2. NON-Weidu mods second
3. Weidu mods last
