How in the heck do I kill the Chromatic Demon in the 2nd level of watchers keep... He must regenerate somehow becuase one minutes it says near death then the next uninjured...

When it's in Fire form hit it with Ice.

When it's in Air form hit it with Poision.

Just put some Spike Traps on the floor. And this belongs to ToB forum not SoA.

The key is indeed the different forms that he takes. Use the knowledge that you gained throughout that level! How did you beat the Fire Elementals for instance.

One of the level 6 druid/cleric spells can make your life much easier at this fight. [img]smile.gif[/img]

You picked up 4 pieces of parchment with a clever storyline and specific instructions on how to kill the demon -- right? The way the story plays out, each of the 4 wizards that occupied the level some hundreds of years ago were locked into a kind of stalemate. Each of them had a creature (fire giant, ice golem, poison snake, air elemental) that was immune to certain attacks but susceptible to others. I assume that eventually the wizards all killed each other off, but their guardians remained. You were meant to use the pieces of parchment as clues for how to defeat the various guardians, right? So in the same pieces of parchment it tells you which attacks to use on the chromatic demon.

Physical attacks will also work, but very, very slowly so buff up your defenses and call in the summons!

P.S., I have to agree with Xen that this post should be in the TOB forum, where there are at least 23 other posts about the chromatic demon...

You will need to use some Lvl5 Arcane spells before that Lvl6 Priest spell becomes feasible, but Hale yeah, the fight can be over in a matter of seconds without ever needing to worry about elemental attacks.
