I've read on Mike's RPG page that you get a scroll of Spell Trigger on Malacazar's body. So I went there and there it was. The only sure location of Spell Trigger in whole SOA. So I reloaded and went there again and this time there wasn't any sing of the scroll.
Is it possible that Malacazar has the scroll only when you come to the Slums for the first time? (To kill them)

Oh. See, that information would have helped. I may have gotten a high score on the trivia game, but not even I knew who Malacazar was...

I don't recall ever finding a scroll of Spell Trigger that early in the game, myself. So anything could be possible.

And even if there was a Spell Trigger scroll available so early in the game, it wouldn't be of much use anyway (except XP value for writing it in your spellbook). It's a Level Eight spell after all.

Could be useful in a one-off boss battle in the early/mid part of the game... and thats about all I can think of.
