I was thinking of having a party with a monk and a sorcerer in it. If I play multiplayer, can I still pick up some fun NPCs like Jaheira and Imoen, for example?

If so, will I be able to start with both of my characters (the monk and sorcerer) in Irenicus' dungeon?

Sorry if this is an old question, but I've never tried this before.

TIA.

Well, I could be wrong, but looking at the screenies and comments to Cloudy's multiplayer game I think the answer is a 'yes' to both.

no thinking involved... the answer is absolutly yes...

Yeah. but if you really want a monk and a sorcerer, i suggest the kelsey mod. he's a kewl sorcerer.

(I know i just said i dont like mods, but some nonoverpowered mods like this one are great)

It's easy to start a multiplayer game and still have joinable NPCs. If you haven't ever done it before, pre-roll your characters, start the multiplayer game, and make a save game early in Irenicus' dungeon. Then go to your MPsave folder, drag the save game into the regular save folder, and open it up as a single player game (it makes reloading a whole lot easier that way). Once you're on your way, you can reform your party as usual. In fact, you can even kick out your own PCs (not the main one, of course) and they'll sit wherever you leave them until you want them to join back up.
