It is possible to create soundsets that are usable by characters, but I don't think that it's possible to create what you're asking, i.e. some sort of button that will play pre-recorded sound clips.

yeah you can, i did this for a while in BG 1 and i got very tired of it after a while, all you need is a microphone and stick it into your computer and record the sound, make sure its a .wav format and name it *******a.wav the stars are for the name of the soundset you want so it could be:
Timothya.wav
the a afterwards refers to the sound, and when it will be played. there is a list somewhere that will tell you wich letter corresponds to which command. hope that helped.
