Well, even if it was a long time ago i was in the Underdark, i still carry with me an item i dont know what to do anything with.

I gathered some fluid form some Illithid pools, and the item i got was Illithid serum. Now, i collected 10 of them, thinking it may wake up the slaves in the bottom right room, but i didnt find a way to do that.

Is there any use for the Illithid serum?

IIRC it protects you from Illitids to drain your INT. But don't quote me on that one.

Wrong, that is the other pool, wich creates a brine potion :D

Is it the elder brain blood? Which you can give to Phaere in Ust Natha if you dont want to get the Elder Orb Eye or Kua Toa Prince Blood?

No, you get it from some tanks that looks like they are filled with blood, and the item is called Illithis serum.

Doesn't it bring the slaves back to conceousnos by putting it in that machine...IIRC...i could be wrong...and i dnno what it can be dne with with the drow, i normally just bash my way through the underdark.

Ne'er even heard of that. I searched the whole of that place and never came across it. Sorry I could be of more assistance.

The Illithid Serum serves no other purpose than to wake up the captives in the room where you get the Control Circlets. I don't even think the Item Upgrade MOD makes use of it (although it does use Brine Potions).

You can safely drop it once you've woken the captives.

And how do i wake them? I tried using the machine in the room while i had the serum, it didnt work. Maybe because i had it in my bag of holding?

It probably won't matter if you have it in a Bag of Holding, but it's worth taking it out just to make sure.

I always use it on one of the "lesser" machines in the same room, rather than the big machine. Try hovering your mouse near the wall between a couple of the sleeping captives, over one of the smaller machines & see if you get the "Use" symbol. If so, click it, & that should wake them up.
