Okay, here's the story. I had Anomem in my group until one day a servent came and said his father was dead and that evidence now existed that showed his sister was murdered. He ran off so fast, leaving few kind words for my PC, and in a hissy fit of female peak my PC let him go; besides I was about to dump him anyway and add Haer Daelis.
Now I know all I had to do was go to Sareks home in the Bridge district and either watch Anomem get wacked or help him kill the bum. But I decided I would go to the asylum with Haer Daelis, Minsc, Yoshimo, Ms J and Aerie. Okay I just got back and now I am putting together the parts for the Crom F: plus the equalizer and the vorpal. what I want to do is place the Equalizer and the Crom in HD's hands, the vorpal in Minsc's (Lialacor can just shut it) and give Imoen the Clestrial Fury. One problem, Anomem had the Thunder hammer and the gauntlets when he took a powder. It was just after the Planar sphere and he needed the buffing. So I finally go to the home in the bridge district and a servent tells me Anomem murdered the merchant, all the guards and is now in hiding with the radiant heart. I check there and he's nowhere, I check the prison (zip), I check the government office (saying hi to Nadia where I left her, again no anomem), and finally his old home (whacking the doorman on the way in). So now comes the question: where the bleep, bleep is he so I can kill him and get these items back. |
1) Is your party evil? It doesnt seem like it, since you have Aerie and Minsc in it, so would a good party really kill Anomen to get the items back? Think about that.
2) I think this is a question for more experienced people, but since he is "hiding" in he RH, maybe you are not supposed to find him? |
Well, i don't know where he his, TBH i don't have the slightest clue. But logical places to look, i would say are:
Temple of Helm (ALL of them, remember the one in the bridge district) Radiant Heart Hall - are you sure you went everywhere inside it, and you didn't just miss him accidently? Garren Windpsear's house in the W.P hills, he's with the radiant heart. That's all the logical places i could think to do with the radiant heart. Also, he could be hiding at say, Desolar's inn, the law doesn't seem to be much with that place. I'd also say search the sewers, a good palce to hide IMHO. But i doubt he's in any of those places, and you're not suposed to find him. Hope that helped. TBH i doubt it did, i don't have a clue :D |
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am fairly certain that you cannot get Anomen back. I think that if you miss that bit of his quest, he is gone for good. I know for certain that if you say the wrong things when you go to watch him kill Surayah he will leave for good. I think this is the same, and the items are gone, unless you cheat them back in via the CLUAConsole.
Sillara |
Sillara is correct, Anomen is gone forever, and so are all his items, unless of course you CLUA them back in. I'm mildly surprised that items such as the Hammer of Thunderbolts remained on Anomen, though: Normally, when NPCs leave your party, "artifact-level" items such as the Flail of Ages will automatically jump from their Inventory into yours, along with all of their containers.
If Anomen ditches the party and heads for the Bridge District, the ONLY way you'll ever see him again is to drop whatever you're doing and go straight after him. |
Rats, and my other idea that he was now in Bodhi's lair as a vamp didn't pan out either. I quess I will have to make do without. I do have an alternative method for dealing with Adamantine Golems, it just takes for ever.
