Hey!
Its been a long time since I played BG now, but now I have gotten the desire to play it once more. So there are a couple of things I would like to know first:
- What is the adress for Sorceres Place, or something? Canīt remember the name.
- What is the adress for the forum whitch took over for Interplay forum? I think it was something with Ashfordly.
- I am about to play all the games with one character, and I would like to know what kind of patches and fixes I should install, and in witch order?

I would be very very grateful for any response.

Don't know.

Check the Forum FAQ.

Ashford City is *not* an official board in any sense - it is, though, a place where a lot of the old regular posters moved to. You can find them at http://ashfordcity.beigetower.org/forum/index.php

install order:

SOA
TOB
TOB patch 2.5.26498 from Bioware
Baldurdash Fix-pack (TOB compatible version)

then if you like, some Weidu-installer mods (I like Ease-Of-Use and Tactics)

don't forget, before you install WEIDU mods, you're supposed to install all Non-WEIDU mods....

What. That last post I did not understand.
And donīt forget that I shall install ALL the games.

WEIDU is one of the people that make mods for Baldur's Gate. What vesselle essentially meant is the before you install any mods made by WEIDU, you install any other mods not made by him.

Sort of.

WeiDU is a mod installation program developed by a guy called Wes Weimer. Most/all modern mods use it as it has features which help with mod compatability (e.g. patching rather than overwriting files such as dialog.tlk). As a result, you can install more than one WeiDU mod.

Non WeiDU mods such as TDD and BP overwrite files like dialog.tlk, so you can't install more than one of them (game text etc is messed up).

So, if you want to install non - WeiDU mods then you can only install one maximum, and it must be before WeiDU mods.

There is a great variety of WeiDU mods available from various sites such as Gibberlings Three and Pocket Plane Group (links in my sig), http://www.WeiDU.org for Wes' homepage and mods, and Forgotten Wars among others too...
