I have just reloaded BG2 after a year or so and am about 2 hours into the gaem. I have a bug that where I am unable to talk to Inn Keepers or some vendors. I get "So-and-so is busy, and cannot respond".

Very annoying. I have tried reloading the save gave, crossing back and forth into other areas and other futile attempts to reset the flag that is obviously set.

Any ideas other than to quit and try to return to Pool of Radiance? OMG PoR is horrible!

Did you patch your game and download the Baldurdash fixpack?

No, I tried the update key on the start-up panel, but I keep getting a "url does not exist" nasty-gram.

This happened to me... all you need to do is install the latest baldurdash...make sure you get the correct one, based on whether or not you have ToB installed aswell [img]smile.gif[/img]

Actually, you need the ToB patch *and* Baldurdash. Baldurdash, to my knowledge, does not fix the bugs fixed by the official patch.

No, it doesn't. It says on the site that it's only intended to fix things not resolved by the patch.

For this particular bug, you only need the patch.
