Hello everyone,
I havent played BG2 for a while but I think now is the time for a return to the best RPG ever.
My question is about installing Mods
The mods I am considering at the moment are Banter Packs, Dungeon Be Gone, Iron Modder packs 1-5, Kelsey, potionquest, Rastors Itempack, Totemic Cernd, Victor's Improvements Pack, Cliffettes Minimods, Dingos Questpack, FreedomsReign/Reign of Virtue, Gibberlings Three Aniversary Mod, Unfinished Business, Virtue, Ease-Of-Use and Item Upgrade.
Are any of these very buggy?...and any suggestions for any good Mods, please let me know.
Also I would like to know which order to install the above mods.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

AFAIK, none of those mods are very buggy. You might also want to try Rogue Rebalancing.

If you have only SoA, then install them in this order:

Quote:

Originaly posted by icelus:

1. Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
2. Official Bioware Patch for SoA
3. Baldurdash Fixpacks for SoA OR Sorcerer's Place Fixpacks
4. Other Non-WeiDU Mods (Only one dialog.tlk-overwriting mod can be installed. See the Big Picture install guide for step-by-step instructions)
**OR** Total Conversions (no other mods should be installed after TC's)
5. WeiDU Mods

If you have SoA + ToB, then do this:

Originaly posted by icelus:

1. Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
2. Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
3. Official Bioware Patch for ToB
4. Baldurdash Fixpacks for ToB
5. Other Non-WeiDU Mods (Only one dialog.tlk-overwriting mod can be installed. See the Big Picture install guide for step-by-step instructions)
**OR** Total Conversions (no other mods should be installed after TC's)
6. WeiDU Mods

(it seems like lord got to it before me)

wow thats a lot of mods ;) . just dont forget to download patch files and baldurdash fixpacks.
how many of them are weidu bc im too lazy to look? you can basically have only 1 non-weidu mod (one that you have to put into the overide folder). i do not recomend non weidu mods.
check out http://weidu.org/main.html#install for weidu mod info and compatability.

I am also confused as to which are Weidu and which are Non-Weidu.

Don't just indiscriminately install all of the Iron Mods, because some aren't really meant to be enjoyed for an entire game (for instance, there's one where everyone adopts the slime animation, etc.) Read the individual READMEs.

I don't know whether Victor's is stable, but I believe all those mods are WeiDU.

Install EoU towards the top of the stack, install Virtue last.
