another of my 'i'm excited by my first run through tactics' post . . .

i thought it was time to wander down to the temple district sewers and see what's what - jan's barely competent sneaking about had seen me safely though a pack of goblins and he was just starting to relax when what should dimension door in but a beholder and 4 gauths - i'm yet to buy the shield of balduran (my constant beholder battling companion of former games but i decided to give it a go)

after minimal buffing (bless & PfE) korgan charged in while me, jan and mazzy attacked from range - i threw in a few skeletons from the back, korgan had to retire from the front line for a bit for healing and jan cast a haste on the fly but it was a good if surpisingly winnable battle - i'm thinking korgan's saving throws will have helped

it was all very pleasing - the team are now chock full of confidence and working well [img]smile.gif[/img] i reckon i can cope with most things now . . .

i remember thsoe jerks... i sent my main over to kill the troll, all alone because thats all that is over there, right?
