Just downloaded the darkest day v 1.03 from fileplanet, and it doesn't seem to be installing, i get installer, and when i need to select the path where bg2 is installed in, i select it (which is just my D drive), and i can't do anything more, it just won't let me install there, anyone happens to have a solution to this?

D: is usually CD drive, are you positive D: is your hard drive?

I have never played Darkest Day, but when installing mods it is best to follow this order:
Baldurs Gate 2 (and ToB if you have it)
Baldurs Gate 2 official patch (or ToB patch instead if you have that installed)
Baldurdash Fixpack
Weidu Mods
Any other mods.

D is my backup harddrive, but also has some games installed (sacred comes to mind), it just seems as if i just can't install it, btw, i kind off followed your steps, but baldurdash fixpack is already integrated in the darkest day.

Then I'm not sure, sorry.

Double D,

I just installed it a couple weeks ago without issue. I don't recall having to select the drive, it just found it. (I may have forgotten though.) And it is on my D: drive too, win 98. I don't have any suggestions but I hope you get help so someone else here will also be playing it at the same time I am. Does it start the installer at all?

Is your BG2 patched up to the latest official patch or you have TOB installed too?

I know why... Normally it finds the path itself. You have to install it in where you've installed BG2. EX: C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BG2-SoA\ (Note: you put the path were you've installed it). Then it should allow you to install it.

Thanks people, just took the radical path, reinstalled on my c drive, it was just, when i wanted to install bg2 on my d drive, it didn't make the map Black isle, it just installed the files there, but everything is fine now, thanks for your help!

Actually, you should install WeiDU mods *after* any other ones.

Though most modern mods are thankfully WeiDU.
