I just beat the Shadow Lord quest and was awarded the cabin. I rested for a long time until a spirit came and told me to stop some mean people up north. I found what they were looking for for them and didn't even take the reward. I returned back to my cabin and rested for a few days to try to get the next part of the quest done(I'm about to run to the underdark, but I want to complete the stronghold before I do). Well no one showed up at first, so I rested some more and then Delson(sp?) shows up, the little boy I met in the city and he asked me to go save his little village, which I thought was strange since I already DID save his village. I then went over to the mayor and he was very angry at me and took away my cabin! With all my neat things in it, including the Watcher's Keep Wardstone. I have an autosave from me traveling from the temple ruins to the village after getting rid of the tree burners. I plan on reloading this save and trying not to loose it this time, but does anyone know what cause me to loose the cabin? I think it might be some sort of bug on account of Delson showing up after resting a while. As a note I have not gave any boys swords/ale. I have not even ran into.

Any help would be appreciated. The sooner the better because I would like to get back to my game.

Thanks!

Jorsh.

(Delon. Daleson is one of Nalia's servants.)

To get your stronghold back, use the console to set the following variables:

SetGlobal("PlayerHasStronghold","GLOBAL",1)
SetGlobal("RangerProtector","GLOBAL",1)

Sorry to laugh at your ranger's expense, but that is hilarious. I heeded the little boy and kept the cabin, now I want to replay and ignore the boy just to see the mayor gettin' mad.

Jorsh- Did you go talk to the mayor after finishing the first of the Ranger quests? If you went immediately back to your cabin and slept for a few days the rest of Imnesvale might think you hadn't done your job and were therefore unworthy of the post. Try talking to the mayor just after you get back from the quest.

Barren F- I understand that the CLUA codes would give back possession of the cabin, but it seems like the rest of the quests might be "broken" and Jorsh would never be able to continue to completion of the Ranger Stronghold. I don't know for sure since I've never had to do this, but the CLUA console can be pretty tricky once you start using it to complete quests, with so many time-dependent or action-dependent events that need to happen. Just my $0.02.

I tried the codes and they did not work. But thank you anyways. I reloaded and went back and talked to the Mayor and everyone else I could find before resting and it seems to have worked! I have not complete the quest.

You have to change the baldur.ini file for the cheats to work.

Similarly, Delon came up and spoke to Minsc in my most recent game (as he usually does...) but this time he stayed rooted to the spot.

I spoke to him again after completing the quest, and he 'reassigned' the mission to Minsc with exactly the same dialogue responses from both characters.

The game is patched/up to date.

Ideas?

If you're talking about the "save my village" mission, Delon will always have the same dialog after that. It's a bug.

It is, nothing for you to be concerned about. It happend to me too.
