I was trying to reinstall BGII on my computer (full install), and I suddenly discovered that cd2 was scratched up worse than I thought...not that bad, but badly enough that there were 3 or so files that would not upload. So, my question is whether or not someone could post the following files for me, or point me in the direction of somewhere I could find them. They are:

NPCSound
Movies
MovIntro

I seem to recall this sort of thread cropping up before (these new members are nothing but trouble).

I think the gist of previous threads of this nature went along the lines of "the files are copyrighted, so no chance".

Which ISN'T to say that some nice member might well arrange a file transfer with you in private.

Hmm, this post is also flying pretty close to the wind on the forum rules about pirated software/copyrighted files etc. You DID read the rules didn't you ;)

If he owns a copy of the game this sort of thing would be understandable, that doesnt make it right, but because I dont think there will be an abundance of support from blackisle studios [img]smile.gif[/img]
But its not up to me to decide wether this is legal or not.

The game is available on Ebay and Amazon for cheap. It's a bargin. Buy it again, or buy it for the first time.

i KNEW i was gonna wear the game out, so i pre-ordered 4 copies. and i'm ecstatic that i have. no black isle means no more help with bad cds, which is, of course, minor compared to no more BI games.

but those collector's cds were cheap! even if they were gold. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
cd4 on 2 of the editions have radial cracks and can't be read at all. so, i've made copies of the 2 full sets i have left. man, i do NOT wanna end up not being able to play cuz of something like that.

i completely sympathize with your plight. i hope you get it sorted out.
