After 6 month, I start to play bg2 again, this time with BP mods.

I am current try to get this ring of lock picks in order to forge the Gloves of the Master Thief (one of weimer's item upgrade). I don't remember where to get this ring as I did not get it in my previous bg games. I search the web and found some info on gamebanshee said this ring is in shadow thief guild.

I am currently on charter 3 and with shadow thief, so I search the guild but can not locate this ring. Anyone has an idea where is this ring?

IIRC, the ring is in Mae'Var's guildhall. if you want the quest you need to talk to Renal Bloodscalp at the top of the main shadowthief building.

Nope, the Ring of Lock Picks is in the Real Shadow Thief Guildhall. You know the one.. *winks*

So the ring is with someone I need to kill in guildhall?

No, if my memory is correct, it's in a barrel.

A person in the "REAL" guildhall has it, He approaches you trying to get you to betray the Shadow Thieves but at that moment an assasin will kill him and give you a warning of the preice of betrayal. On his body you shall find the ring. Be sure to search the ENTIRE guildhall.
