Where do you get the spell Cone of Cold??? I've ben threw the game 5 times. THe mage in the Dwarfven mine's has it if you charm him so I want to know where to get it.

The only way i got that scroll was editing it into my inventory. Some people got it in the game, but as a random treasure, so the chances that you´ll get it are very low (there are lots of gems, scrolls, and money chances).

It is a standard spell with Dark Side installed.

I only got to find out about Cone of Cold from IWD, never had it in BG/TOTSC. However this got me thinking - I can't remember anywhere in the game where you get attacked by someone using 'Cold' magic or weapons. I carry around those silly looking 'Boots of the North' and a whole bunch of Protection Scrolls but I can't remember needing them. Anyone help me out here?
