I've seem to have lost the sewer (beneath the Temple) key. How do I get another because I forgot to enter the mind flayer lair
I also downloaded the bonus disk but am not getting the extra weapons in the adventure mart
Lastly I have 2 apprentis left how do I get them to make me the staff of power without getting them killed
Thanks a million

If you have ShadowKeeper, you can add items to your inventory with it, & just give yourself another Sewer Key. Or, if you have the CLUAConsole activated, you can CreateItem("KEY29").

If Deirdre (the Bonus Merchant) isn't showing up, you can use CreateCreature("WMART2") to spawn her in.

Finally, if you only have 2 apprentices left, you have 0% chance of them successfully creating the Staff of Power for you. You need all 3, & even then there's a chance they'll fail & all blow up. But, hey, while you're CLUA'ing in stuff, you can always CreateItem("STAF12").

If none of that made sense, I (or someone) can point you to ShadowKeeper or tell you how to enable the CLUAConsole.

ShadowKeeper can be found here

The bonus merchants add more merchants to the game. Your new items wont be in Ribald Barterman's stock, they will be on Diedre(sp?) at the top of the stairs behind Ribald. There is another merchant added in the Copper Coronet as well. His name escapes me at the momment, but he is just south (below) where anomen is standing.

EDIT] The merchant's name is Joluv.

http://www.pccheatz.com/Baldurs_Gate.htm has info on how to enable and use CLUAConsole

The other marchant's name is Joluv. He usually stands by the giant grill in the Copper Coronet but has been known to move around (especially if you fought someone in the CC - he's very risk-averse that way).

Why don't we teach him on how to modify his character(s) using Near Infinity while you guys are at it?

Because that's even harder to teach Dundee, duh!!" ;)

And if we tell a newbie that he's done for concerning that particular quest.. well, he won't like the game anymore for it

Dundee Slaytern 07-22-2004 11:17 PM

Well... judging from his first post, he is either not playing for the first time, or reading a walkthrough.

I mean... not getting the Sewer Key and/or the Staff of Power is not the end of the game. ;)

There is always a next time.

I agree to some extent - enabling the CLUAConsole isn't the best or easiest solution to his problems, but I didn't think that posting...

1) You're screwed
2) You're screwed
3) You're screwed

...would be very helpful. At least there's hope if he's willing to break the rules a bit.
