I'm currently in the Drow city with Viconia in my party. (I'm romancing her.) But should'nt there something suppose to happen on the second floor of the tavern where the three House De Vir-loyalists are being held captive? A diologue with Viconia or something? Because i think it's strange that she seems unmoved by the fact that her house has fallen and the last remaining members are waiting to be thrown in the Demonweb pits...

Yeah well.. she renounced her Drow way of life, after all. I have never romanced Viconia, so I don't know if a dialogue should occur or not.

No, no dialogue. Which does make sense. No love was lost between Viconia and her former House when she left the Underdark, and her speaking with those prisoners would probably blow your party's cover of posing as Drow from some House other than DeVir (I forget which, long time since I played).

House Despana.

<span style="color: lightblue">Also, Viconia knows already that her house is dead. Infact, she tells you if you romance her that she caused them to become unfavoured, and that that is why she left the Underdark in the first place.

Completely off topic, but what was the Stockholm Syndrome? :D ive heard it a dozen times, but cant recall what it is...

Memnoch 07-17-2004 09:16 AM

Stockholm Syndrome is what's used to describe the affinity that the kidnapped start to feel for their kidnappers, if I believe.

Stockholm Syndrome 07-17-2004 10:33 AM

The Stockholm Syndrome is an emotional attachment, a bond of interdependence between captive and captor that develops when someone threatens your life, deliberates, and doesn't kill you. The relief resulting from the removal of the threat of death generates intense feelings of gratitude and fear which combine to make the captive reluctant to display negative feelings toward the captor or terrorist. The captives begin to identify with their captors. At least at first this is a defensive mechanism, based on the (often unconscious) idea that the captor will not hurt the captive if he is cooperative and even positively supportive. The captive seeks to win the favor of the captor in an almost childlike way. - The Peace Encyclopedia.

Just to add something... Not only would Viconia not feel sorry for her former housemates... She would probably be happy to see them go.
Early Viconia romance spoilers...

Viconia was driven out of the Underdark. Her House abandoned her, and probably gave pursuit. Anyone who would have spoken out would have been killed or worse. Therefore, as these drow are alive, she would percieve them as having turned their backs on her. Ergo, good riddance to them.
